Spinner Rings Explained: How They Work and How to Choose

A spinner ring is a soft ring with a bead or small spinning part on one side. The ring holds in place at the base while the bead moves with you, adding sensation for you or for a partner.

How is it different from a plain ring?

A plain ring only provides the squeeze at the base. A spinner adds a moving part, and the position of the bead changes how it feels. Worn with the bead underneath, it can stimulate a partner. Worn on top, it can add feeling for the wearer.

Single ring or a pack?

If you do not know your size, a pack is the better first buy. It includes several rings of different sizes and tightness, so you can find the one that is snug but comfortable. See spinner ring packs. If you already know your size, a single spinner ring is simple and cheaper.

Material

Soft silicone rings are stretchy and comfortable and usually the easiest for beginners. Read body-safe materials for the differences.

Wearing tips

  • Put it on before you are fully erect, using plenty of water-based lube.
  • It should be snug, not painful.
